One question that really rang true to me was this: "Do you eat to live or live to eat?"
So simple, yet such a powerful question.
Then the statement:"Eat clean" I didn't know what that meant at all!
Here is some keywords I never used until about year ago : "Organic, grass fed and free range."
This was all new, but I came to the realization that the other path was NOT working!
Bottom line is you have to understand where your food is coming from, the source!
a few examples.
- Turkey bologna is not sliced turkey
- Eggs from chicken given hormones is not the same eggs from chicken that eats and roam freely
- Fresh fish is not the same as fish sticks
I like to rotate my foods, I try to eat a different protein source each day, I have a different serving of fruit at each meal, and I also rotate through my vegetables, I love radishes so I eat them with Cucumbers.
In all foods you have high quality( better) , medium quality and low quality food, Here food divided into 6 groups not the food pie or pyramid just 6 groups , the reason being that nutrition can and is different for each person, men, women and children. People have different goals and allergies and likes. some people want to lose weight some people want to lose body fat and some people want to build muscle, you have to make your own decisions based on your goal and objectives
